P0404 Code

code p0404  Failure code of P0404 had been recorded I removed the EGR valve and discovered that small pieces of carbon had logded the valve open  P0404 does not necessarily mean your EGR is stuck open It simply means that the EGR valve is not behaving correctly when the ECM calls for it to be open

Watched some YouTube videos about P0404 and I amwas about to performsee if cleaning, or replacing the EGR valve andor gasket would solve the issue  P0404 does not necessarily mean your EGR is stuck open It simply means that the EGR valve is not behaving correctly when the ECM calls for it to be open
